Remember when you used to show up at your local record store to snag the latest 45 by your favorite band so you would have the latest hit song and the unobtainable-anywhere-else b-side? Ken Michaels does, and he proves it in tonight’s third, thematic set on Every Little Thing, airing at 9 pm ET on Pure Pop Radio.

In tonight’s third, thematic segment, Ken spins five cool, non-LP b-sides from the solo Beatles, kicking off the fun with George Harrison’s “Deep Blue” (the flip of “Bangla Desh” in 1971) and coming in at the finish with George’s “Zig Zag,” the little-known flip of “When We Was Fab” (“Zig Zag” comes from the Handmade Films production of the movie Shanghai Surprise). Pretty sweet!

Tonight’s Every Little Thing begins in Beatles territory with the quite fab “What Goes On” and continues with four more cool tracks, including a cover of “I Need You” from the Webb Sisters and a very special interview. Tonight’s second segment presents a Wings Wild Life two-fer, featuring the very cool “Mumbo” and the shoulda-been-a-single “Tomorrow, along with a pair of gear songs from the Fabs.

It’s all coming to you tonight on the premiere, weekly radio show devoted to Beatles and solo Beatles tuneage, Ken Michaels’ Every Little Thing. Enjoy!
