This week’s editions of our signature Beatles shows, Ken Michaels’ Every Little Thing and the weekly Beatles roundtable, Things We Said Today, are must-listens for all Fab Four fans. Every Little Thing airs tonight at 8 pm ET (5 pm PT); Things We Said Today airs this Thursday night at 8 pm ET (5 pm PT).
We go back to December 8, 2014 for tonight’s repeat broadcast of one of Ken’s classic shows. Tonight’s hour presents a top-notch 1977 twofer that pairs Wings’ pounding “Girls’ School” with Ringo Starr’s “Can She Do It Like She Dances.” And, in a loving tribute to the late, great Harry Nilsson, Ken spins six classic numbers, starting with the singer’s version of the Beatles’ “You Can’t Do That” and ending with Ringo’s “Stop and Take the Time to Smell the Roses,” which he co-wrote with Nilsson.
All this plus Ken’s Beatles trivia question–get your thinking caps on!–on tonight’s rebroadcast of Ken Michaels’ Every Little Thing.
Every Little Thing is the premiere, syndicated program playing Beatles group and solo recordings. Hosted by longtime radio personality Ken Michaels, the show airs a mix of new and archived shows on Monday nights at 8 pm ET on Pure Pop Radio.

The regular panel of experts assembles around the virtual roundtable for this Thursday’s edition of Things We Said Today. On the docket are multiple topics of interest, including news that footage exists from the rehearsals for the first appearance by the Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show. The news of this footage was originally announced on Chris Carter’s Breakfast With the Beatles program on Los Angeles radio station KLOS-FM.
Ken Michaels, Steve Marinucci, Al Sussman and Allan Kozinn also discuss the existence of stereo versions of songs that were included in the television film about the Beatles’ Shea Stadium concert. Also discussed is the idea of the group releasing material from the vaults that fans would want to own. Does it hurt the Beatles that so much of this material remains unreleased?
All this and more makes this Thursday night’s edition of Things We Said Today another program that Beatles fans simply can not miss.
Things We Said Today is a weekly survey of all things Beatles that’s hosted by a quartet of Beatles experts–today’s Fab Four, if you will. Ken Michaels, host of Every Little Thing, which airs Monday nights at 8 pm ET on Pure Pop Radio, is joined by Beatlefan Executive Editor Al Sussman, Steve Marinucci (Beatles Examiner), and Allan Kozinn, longtime music critic. Other well-known Beatles experts sometimes sit in with the core group.
