needle meets vinylBrian Bringelson’s Needle Meets Vinyl carries on tonight at 8 pm ET (5 pm PT) with another show that brings the well-known together with the should-be-better-known tracks that are part of the musical tapestry of our lives. Plus, it’s all played from vinyl.

This week’s show puts Dennis Wilson’s classic track “River Song” into the spotlight, along with 17 others, from John Lennon’s “Remember” and the Buckinghams’ “Don’t You Care” to the Rolling Stones’ “Don’t Know Why” and Big Star’s “Thirteen.” Plus, Brian takes a walk into Jackie Lomax’s “Sour Milk Sea” and swims along with the Monkees, who sing “The Porpoise Song (Theme from Head).”
