Ray Paul’s triumphant appearance last week on Pure Pop Radio: In Conversation is now posted on our PodOmatic podcast page for listening and downloading.
Ray Paul, record maker, is back.
Sixteen years after releasing his ace compilation CD, The Charles Beat, and 36 years after the album Go Time from Ray Paul and RPM made its way into the world, one of pop music’s biggest supporters is once again a recording artist: Ray Paul’s smashing album of new material, Whimsicality, is set to release on July 8 on the reactivated Permanent Press label.
During this show, Ray goes in-depth with Alan Haber as he guides listeners through Whimsicality’s mix of originals and choice covers, such as the Grass Roots’ “Temptation Eyes.” He talks about the many well-known guests playing on the album, familiar names all–Emitt Rhodes, Klaatu’s Terry Draper, Walter Clevenger, the Grip Weeds’ Kurt Reil, and the Doughboys’ Gar Francis among them.
While you’re visiting our PodOmatic podcast page, why not listen to and download some more of the nearly 60 interviews Alan Haber has conducted over the years. A splendid time is guaranteed for all!
