By Alan Haber – Pure Pop Radio
This week’s Pure Pop Radio signature shows on Pop that Goes Crunch Radio sing sweetly with sparkling, all-new editions of Alan Haber’s Pop Tunes Deejay Show tonight and Thursday night, and a first-run interview with Coke Belda, talking about and playing songs from his smashing new album, Coke Belda 3 (Gs), A Tribute to the Bee Gees, on Pure Pop Radio: In Conversation tomorrow night (Wednesday).
Tonight at 8 pm ET, Alan Haber’s Pop Tunes Deejay Show gets into gear with plenty of new tracks from Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie, Magpie, Shake Some Action!, The John Sally Ride, Thrift Store Halo, and classics from Herman’s Hermits and the Electric Light Orchestra. Plus, plenty of snappy deejay patter from yours truly! (Repeats Friday at 2 pm ET)
Tomorrow night (Wednesday, August 23 at 9 pm ET), Coke Belda checks in on Pure Pop Radio: In Conversation to talk about his just-about-to-be-released album, Coke Belda 3 (Gs), a Tribute to the Bee Gees. Coke puts his imprint on both well-known classics and perhaps lesser-known treasures from the Brothers Gibb, from “Claustrophobia” to “Sir Geoffrey Saves the World” to “You Win Again,” all three of which you will hear during this program. It’s another in-depth conversation that you can only hear on In Conversation. (Repeats Saturday at 2 pm ET)
Alan Haber’s Pop Tunes Deejay Show returns this Thursday, August 24 with another all-new go-round, a potpourri-style range of songs from across the decades. Your favorite melodic pop artists! And more delicious deejay patter from me! (Repeats Monday, August 28 at 11 am ET)
