Graham Gouldman, whose songs have provided a sweet soundtrack for so many lives, guests next Wednesday night, February 21, at 9 pm ET on a very special edition of Pure Pop Radio: In Conversation.

Two of Gouldman’s classic songs–“Bus Stop,” a top five Billboard magazine chart-topper in 1966, and “No Milk Today,” a top 40 hit in 1967–are my top favorite pop songs of all time, and that’s just scratching the surface of this veteran songwriter’s output achieved over a veritable lifetime of service to music lovers around the world.

Whether you’ve heard and loved his music from his years with 10cc; Wax; GG06, his duo with 10cc’s Kevin Godley; his extensive solo career, or all of these periods, you’re sure to enjoy listening to this in-depth conversation with one of music’s greatest talents.

Gouldman joined me for a spirited and informative In Conversation talk about his wonderful new EP, Play Nicely and Share, stocked deep with five new classic compositions and a reimagining of the classic Buddy Holly track “Rave On.” But wait…there was more: We talked about the creative and wonderful design for this EP’s package, created by StormStudios, and if you feel a connection with the equally creative and wonderful album covers designed and realized during the days of yore by the design group Hipgnosis, it’s because there is one. And, by the way, you’ll hear all about it.

Of course, we talked about the process of songwriting and other topics, including the writing of the aforementioned “No Milk Today.” You’ll hear three songs from Play Nicely and Share, and one from Gouldman’s previous release, Love and Work. This was a fascinating conversation that you will treasure.

Don’t miss this very special edition of Pure Pop Radio: In Conversation with Graham Gouldman, next Wednesday, February 21, at 9 pm ET on Pop that Goes Crunch Radio. Don’t miss a minute!
