Coming Next Wednesday Night, October 21: Vinyl Meets Pure Pop Radio!

record stackWe heard a noise…kind of a marching noise, like the sound of a marching band marching to our front door. As it got louder and louder, we looked out the window and what did we see? Why, we saw hundreds of vinyl records moving toward us, one step at a time. In no time at all, these records entered our studios, piled on top of each other, and said, all at once, “It’s gonna be all vinyl, all the time, baby!”

We quickly sussed out what they were really trying so desperately to say. Their cry was code for “Pure Pop Radio is going to be airing a new show starting this coming Wednesday night, October 21, at 8 pm ET (5 pm PT). And the thing about this show is every song played will be played from vinyl.”

An all-vinyl, all-the-time show? Why, what a great and timely idea!

Our host isn’t this guy, either!

Not our host!

What’s the name of this show? Who’s the host? What kind of music will he or she be playing? Well, pop, for one thing; some rock and folk, too; and some classic oldies and things like that. And it’s all coming from vinyl. No CDs, no digital files, no 8-tracks. All vinyl, all the time. On this new show, being aired exclusively on Pure Pop Radio, the needle meets vinyl, kids. The needle meets vinyl.

Be here this coming Monday, October 19, when we will spill and spin all the details of this new show. Until then, hug some vinyl records and sweet vinyl dreams…
