Tonight’s exciting edition of Ken Michaels’ Every Little Thing has it all, from an interview with Candy Leonard, author of the fab tome, Beatleness, to a focus on famed guitarist Eric Clapton’s work with the solo Beatles. The fun gets rolling at 9 pm ET on Pure Pop Radio.
Candy, who was a guest on our own In Conversation show this past March, talks to Ken in tonight’s second segment, which also features the Beatles’ “I Should Have Known Better” and “We Can Work It Out.” Candy talks about her focus on the Beatles’ fans, the effect of the group on society versus the effect of Elvis Presley, and other fascinating topics.
Ken gets the ball rolling right out of the gate in his first, varied segment, with great tracks from the Beatles, Paul McCartney, and John Lennon, whose song “How,” from the Imagine album, is played.
In segment three, Ken follows up on a previously-aired set that put the spotlight on Eric Clapton’s work with the Beatles; this time around, songs from the group’s solo years are featured, including George Harrison’s “That’s What it Takes” and Ringo Starr’s “Never Without You.” It’s another great themed set, as only Ken can deliver.
Don’t miss this power-packed edition of Ken Michaels’ Every Little Thing, tonight at 9 pm ET on Pure Pop Radio.
