We’re stepping it up a notch here at Pure Pop Radio! In just two weeks, we’re kicking off our exciting Premiere Week with a brand-new deejay show hosted by our own Alan Haber. And we’re bringing back one of our most popular shows, and slotting our signature Beatles shows into new time slots. We’re making things happen at your original 24-hour-a-day home for the greatest melodic pop music in the universe!
Alan’s been itching to get back to spinning the pop platters that matter on a good, old-fashioned deejay show; his new hour-long program, Pop Tunes, debuts at 9 pm ET (6 pm PT) on August 10.
Each week, Alan will bring you the latest releases from your favorite new and heritage artists, world radio premieres, the weekly Pick Hit that’s zooming up the virtual pop charts and into your heart, theme sets, favorite songs from across the decades, and a treasured segment from the old, weekly Pure Pop Radio show on WEBR: the Student-Teacher Conference, which features a cover of a great melodic pop tune and the original version.
Each week’s new show will repeat on Thursday afternoons at noon ET (9 am PT) and Sunday afternoons at 3 pm ET (noon PT). It’s an extravaganza of pop hosted by Alan Haber and airing each and every week, right here on Pure Pop Radio.
Hosted by Alan Haber, Pure Pop Radio: In Conversation, our signature, melodic pop talk show returns on Tuesday, August 11 at 7 pm ET (4 pm PT) with a mix of new episodes and programs from the archives. We kick things off with the 10th anniversary airing of perhaps our most popular show–a marathon interview with XTC’s Andy Partridge, from May 3, 2005. It’s two hours of in-depth back-and-forth with one of pop music’s greatest writers and performers. You won’t want to miss it!
Pure Pop Radio: In Conversation will repeat on Sunday afternoons at 5 pm ET (2 pm PT). New interviews with your favorite artists are coming soon. Stay tuned to this website for news you need to know about future episodes!
Our Signature Beatles Shows: Things We Said Today and Ken Michaels’ Every Little Thing
The weekly Beatles roundtable, Things We Said Today, and Ken Michaels’ magical mystery tour of all things Fab, Every Little Thing, are shuffling over to new time slots, beginning the week of August 10.
