Ken Michaels’ Every Little Thing is brand-new tonight at 8 pm ET (5 pm PT) on Pure Pop Radio. This fun episode is one of our gifts to you during our 25 Days of Holiday Cheer.
Ken kicks off the fun with a wonderful opening, varied segment that brings tracks from the Beatles, John Lennon, George Harrison, and the Bellfuries, who roll through an energetic cover of the Fabs’ “She’s a Woman,” a track suggested to Ken by our own Alan Haber.
Tonight’s second segment presents an interview with Beatles author Kit O’Toole, who offers that Paul McCartney’s Press to Play is one of the overlooked albums in the bassist’s solo career. You’ll hear two songs from Press to Play: the grand ballad, “Only Love Remains,” and the experimental wonder, “Pretty Little Head.”
The show concludes with a set of album closers from Beatles and solo Beatles classic long players, including John Lennon’s “Oh Yoko!” from John’s album Imagine, and “You and Me (Babe),” which was the final cut on Ringo Starr’s Ringo.
Help ring in our 25 Days of Holiday Cheer by tuning in tonight at 8 pm ET (5 pm PT) for a brand-new edition of Ken Michaels’ Every Little Thing. It’s fab!
