Pins_and_Needles_Cover_Art_Scott_GagnerSinger-songwriter Scott Gagner, whose 2014 album Rise and Shine was a big Pure Pop Radio favorite, has made a welcome return to the melodic pop landscape with Pins and Needles, another top-flight collection of songs peering into the effects of the human condition, always with a melody in its heart.

Scott returned to Pure Pop Radio: In Conversation on October 4 to speak with me about his new release. Along the way, he related deeply felt stories regarding the creation of his wonderful new songs. We played three during this program–“Heart Attack,” “You Don’t Know,” and “America the Beautiful”; listen to them by clicking here.
